he got an offer from Universal Studios


When he was a student, at the same time, he got an offer from the editing department of Universal Studios. It was an intern job for which he was not going to get any money.

He was given to make a 26-minute film, which was written and directed by Steven himself. The name of that movie was Amblin.

The film did wonders and impressed the Studio’s vice president Sidney Sheinberg. Due to this, Steven got many awards as well as got a 7-year contract as a director. He was the first person who got such a long contract at such a young age, that too from Hollywood Studios.

Steven Spielberg has won 3 Oscar Awards and 2 Best Director Awards.
