JK Rowling had saw many difficulties in her life. She had depression and used to think many times about committing suicide.
Her marriage did not work out, and she was a jobless woman. She had a child with him at that time. She did not have any money for medical care. She sought help from the government but to no avail.

In 1990, she was waiting for a train from Manchester to London. The train was delayed by four hours. In the meantime, she got an idea of a story. The story was about a child who wants to go to a school where magic is taught.
For the six years, i.e. till 1996, she wrote the whole story. That story was written on the old typewriter. After completing the story, she contacted 12 publishing houses, but all 12 refused to publish the book.
Even Bloomsbury editor Barry Cunningham said that finding a good job will not be able to earn more money than the children’s story.
She kept trying and one day her book got published. A very famous and successful film was made in that book, Harry Potter. J.K Rowling took six years to write Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, the first book in the Harry Potter series. It was published on 26 June, 1997
Today JK Rowling’s earnings are 560 million pounds, and she is the 12th richest person in London.
What do we learn from this story?
It is not necessary that we have to think a lot to get some ideas. Sometimes a small idea could be clicked in your mind and can change your whole life.
Imagine, if JK Rowling had removed that story from her mind while waiting for the train, would she have been so successful today? Yes, it would have been successful, but we do not get to see such a fantastic movie, Harry Potter.

JK Rowling ने अपने जीवन में कई मुश्किलें देखीं। वह डिप्रेशन में थी और कई बार आत्महत्या करने के बारे में भी सोचती थी।
उनकी शादी नहीं चली, और वह एक बेरोजगार महिला थी। उस समय उनके साथ उनका एक बच्चा भी था। उनके पास इलाज के लिए भी पैसे नहीं थे। उन्होने सरकार से मदद मांगी लेकिन कोई फायदा नहीं हुआ।
1990 में, वह मैनचेस्टर से लंदन के लिए ट्रेन का इंतजार कर रही थी। ट्रेन चार घंटे की देरी से चल रही थी। इसी बीच उन्हें एक कहानी का आइडिया आया। कहानी एक ऐसे बच्चे की थी जो ऐसे स्कूल में जाना चाहता है जहां जादू सिखाया जाता है।
अगले 5 साल यानी 1995 तक उन्होंने पूरी कहानी लिखी। वह कहानी पुराने typewriter पर लिखी गई थी। कहानी पूरी करने के बाद, उन्होने 12 publishing houses से संपर्क किया, लेकिन सभी 12 publishing houses ने बुक छापने से इनकार कर दिया।
यहां तक कि Bloomsbury के संपादक Barry Cunningham ने ये भी कहा कि कोई अच्छी नौकरी ढूंढो क्योंकि बच्चों की कहानी से ज्यादा पैसा नहीं कमा पाओगी।
उन्होने कोशिश की, और उनकी किताब आखिरकर प्रकाशित हुई। वो किताब के ऊपर एक movie बनी जिसने पूरी दुनिया मे हाहाकार मचा दिया, वो movie थी Harry Potter।
आज JK Rowling की कमाई 560 मिलियन पाउंड है, और वह लंदन की 12वीं सबसे अमीर महिला हैं।
हम इस कहानी से क्या सीखते हैं?
यह आवश्यक नहीं है कि कई बार विचारो के लिए हमें बहुत ज्यादा सोचना पड़े। कभी-कभी आपके दिमाग में एक छोटा सा विचार क्लिक हो जाता है और वो ही आपकी पूरी जिंदगी बदल सकता है।
सोचिए अगर JK Rowling ने ट्रेन का इंतजार करते हुए अपने दिमाग से उस कहानी को हटा दिया होता, तो क्या वह आज इतनी सफल होतीं? हाँ, शायद सफल होती, लेकिन एक बात तो तय है कि इतनी शानदार फिल्म हैरी पॉटर हमें देखने को नहीं मिलती।
