‘Empire’ actress Lindsey Pearlman died by suicide. She was found dead inside a car

Lindsey Pearlman, 43, was found dead Feb. 18, 2022, near the intersection of Franklin and North Sierra Bonita avenues.

Pearlman’s body was located after officers responded to a radio call for a death investigation at Franklin Avenue.

Her family had been looking for her since Feb. 13, when she didn't return home.

Her husband confirmed her death on Instagram, saying, "The police found Lindsey. She’s gone. I’m broken."

Pearlman played a recurring role on "Chicago Justice," while also starring on the BET+ show "The Ms. Pat Show" and the Urbanflix series "Vicious."

Her death was ruled as a suicide caused by sodium nitrite toxicity.

Her cousin Savannah informed followers that her phone indicated that she was last seen on Sunset Blvd, 1.5 miles away from where her body was found.
